Buck Russell is not the most reliable and trustworthy person around, and when Cindy Russell (his sister in law) and Bob Russell (his brother) turn to him as a last resort to look after their children — 7-year-old Miles (who turns 8 a bit later), 6-year-old Maizy and 16-year-old Tia — Buck agrees to fill in, while Cindy and Bob go to Indianapolis to visit Cindy’s ill father. If I was asked what my favorite scene would be from the 2009 film Public Enemies, it would be the scene where John and Evelyn “Billie” Frechette are on the beach at night. The reason would be mostly because of how John posed the question of “You want to take that ride with me?” I can’t imagine any woman turning him down after his asking a question like that; in fact, their answer would be a definite “yes” right there. Plus, as a matter of fact, any woman would be putty in John’s hands — especially if he was played by Johnny Depp, for that matter. (Of course, I can also see his John Dillinger as kind of like Dracula, since John could be seen as a vampire — but in the financial sense, however, as he did drain the banks of their money, after all.)
